I’m a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist with a deeply personal understanding of the challenges that ADHD and emotional difficulties can bring. For more than 40 years, I struggled with ADHD and experienced first-hand the impact it could have on my confidence, relationships, work and everyday life. I know what it can feel like to be misunderstood, overwhelmed, frustrated and stuck in patterns that seem difficult to change. My own journey has taught me the importance of resilience, self-understanding, compassion and, importantly, having the right support at the right time. Today, I use both my professional training and personal experience to provide a supportive, understanding and non-judgemental space where you can explore what is happening in your life and develop practical ways of moving forward. I specialise in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and work particularly with adults experiencing ADHD-related emotional dysregulation, overwhelm, impulsivity, relationship difficulties and challenges with managing everyday life. DBT is a practical, skills-based approach that can help you develop greater awareness of your emotions, manage difficult feelings, cope with stressful situations and build healthier relationships. My approach is compassionate, practical and tailored to you — because no two people experience ADHD or emotional difficulties in exactly the same way.
